We have specially designed and configured bulk molding compound extruders
For the last 50 years, Bonnot has supplied bulk molding compound extruders. The proven design creates a consistent weight profile to optimize the thermo set molding and minimize voids and excess flash. Our designs are configured with large feed sections, single counter rotating packer for positive feed and minimal fiber degradation. Carbon steel construction with chrome contact components to reduce drag. Easy clean hoppers, packer & barrels for quicker material changeovers are available and a variety of single orifice forming dies. This design in some cases deploys a tapered auger to accommodate a larger batch, and smaller extrudate.
