BONNOT DEVELOPED THE HORIZONTAL BALE FEEDER TO INGEST HIGH VISCOSITY RUBBERS, INCLUDING FULL BALES, AND PROCESS THEM INTO PELLETS OR DIRECTLY FEED A COMPOUNDING EXTRUDER.
The Bonnot exclusive dual drive system effectively ingests the rubber and delivers a controlled output. The Horizontal can limit the output variation to +/- 5%. If your formula requires less variation, the unit can be configured with a gear pump to achieve an output variation of +/- 1%. The Horizontal design is available in a variety of sizes depending on your need. The latest generation of the Horizontal incorporates a pressure sensitive screw geometry to allow speed control utilizing a pressure feedback loop. The design has also been enhanced with more maintenance friendly features such as the modular crossover.

What output variation can I expect from a Horizontal Bale Feeder?
The Bonnot Horizontal Bale Feeder’s dual-drive system limits standard output variation to +/-5%. For applications requiring tighter control, the unit can be configured with a gear pump to achieve output variation of +/-1%.
